Consultants wanted for review
TI Fiji plans to conduct an independent
review of the organisation and its operations so that it can play its part to
meet the challenges facing the nation.
As Fiji progresses through this period
of transition to parliamentary democracy, a fresh emphasis is critical on
transparent and accountable leadership everywhere and a robust anti-corruption
and integrity promoting culture throughout our community, Executive Director
Apisalome Tudreu said.
“It is very important that this organisation
is able to play its part more effectively now and sustainably into the future
in our nation building process,” he said.
In line with its strategic priorities
and those of the global movement, TI Fiji wishes to conduct an independent
review of its operations to guide its institutional strengthening efforts, to
help develop –
necessary strategic management approach at organisation and programme levels;
appropriate organisational structure;
competencies required for an effective team; and
appropriate staff recruitment, remuneration and retention mechanisms.
The review will provide the sound basis
needed for the improvement efforts which the Board has introduced, where the
organisation began a restructure of its small operation about a year ago toward
a more strategic leadership approach at all levels, Mr Tudreu said.
TI Fiji is calling for expressions of
interest (EoI) from consultants to undertake this important review.
